Pabst got its Blue Ribbon at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair (which was also the site of HH Holme’s murder hotel). I’m a huge nerd (obv), and I can never read enough about the fair. Here’s the Wikipedia page on it, I hope you’re as fascinated by it as I am.
